AB - This research examines if there is a convergence between the different perceptions of policymakers regarding the transfer of knowledge on innovation policies from EU to BRICS framed by big data analytics. The goal is to identify the transfer of knowledge through big data analytics, and the main policies that could be transferred, by means of
recommendations for Policy. The methodology applied to this study is
content analysis of official documents and operationalising the innovation.policies analysis with a Model of four dimensions: 1st dimension Knowledge Transfer Actors; 2nd dimension Knowledge Transfer Activities; 3rd dimension Integration of Knowledge; and 4th dimension - Obstacles and Facilitators. This study presents findings about methods and forms of knowledge transfer between countries, mainly through official documents, meeting, joint international projects, and other activities among EU countries and BRICS countries. This study contributes to the body of knowledge about innovation policies big data analytics and knowledge management, specifically, in respect to the knowledge transfer phase. Finally, the study provides directions for avenues of future research, and suggests some research questions arising out of these findings that might be explored.
