CV Summary

Ermira Danaj holds a PhD in human and social sciences from the University of Neuchatel, Switzerland.  Since 2002, she has worked on various projects and published several research reports, articles and other contributions on gender, feminism, migration, etc. particularly about communist and post-communist Albania. Since 2006 she has taught courses in Feminist and Gender Studies, Sociology, Political Sociology, etc. In Spring 2013, she was a Fulbright visiting scholar in gender and sociology at The New School, New York. Since 2016 she is an invited lecturer in the intensive program “Empowering Women in the 21st Century” organized by the University ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon, Portugal.
