Hélder António Vinagreiro Gomes Alves
CV Summary

Hélder Alves is currently (until september 2020) a Marie Curie fellow at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM). Previously, from 2009 until 2016, he was a post-doc researcher at CIS-IUL and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His research has focused on investigating how, when and why justice discourses can be socially valued. Currently he is focused on finding whether and why (e.g., immorality perceptions, moral outrage)  such discourses can backfire against individuals expressing them. He is also the coordinator of a research group at UAM on emotions and justice.
