Sociologist and former doctoral student in sociology (SFRH/BD/135682/2018) with the project: Staying Out: Contexts, Processes, Dispositions and Reflexivities of Adults with little Schooling who have not resumed formal Education.

Her academic career started with a degree in Sociology (2005). It continued with a Master's degree in Sociology (ISCTE-IUL, 2015), with the thesis: The dispositions of adults with low education levels towards lifelong learning.

Throughout her academic career, she has collaborated in the organization and production of international events (ESHMS 17th Biennial Conference (2018); Third International Conference of Young Urban Researchers (2018); ICSS XVIII - Lisbon (2019)); reviewing scientific articles for Revista Interações (since 2020). Participation as a researcher in CIES projects (since 2020) related to lifelong learning. 

In another dimension of her academic career, she is Visiting Assistant Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (since 2018) and at the Transversal Skills Laboratory of ISCTE (since 2023). Organization of seminars on social research methods and techniques in Master's degrees (Digital Educational Resources; Sociology; School Administration) at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (since 2019). She participated in the 2nd edition of the Upskills program (Iscte and IEFP) - between 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 - as a trainer in transversal skills for the labour market. 

Consultant at IPPS, Iscte since 2022 in several projects of public policy development and evaluation (PRR, ANQEP). Coordinator of projects at IPPS related to education and community development (PRR, OIL Amadora and Sintra; STEAM Academy).

Her professional experience in the field of education and training for young people and adults includes training, mediation, recruitment, guidance and referral, coordination and consultancy (New Opportunities Initiative; Vocational Training Centers and Schools; Professional Associations) and the coordination of a psycho-educational support office.
