This Network of Excellence is intended to increase the efficiency and relevance of antenna research in Europe. It plans to acheive horizontal integration by selecting, perfecting and regrouping for dissemination of world level courses, documentation, software and test resources.
The Joint Research Programme (JRP) will provide vertical integration, fostering university-industry co-operation and focusing research to support Europe’s competitiveness and to limit duplications in 4 key areas:
A. Millimetre wave antennas (Integrated, Meta-material based…)
B. Small terminal antennas (Miniaturised, using MEMS…)
C. Broadband antennas
D. Re-configurable antennas.
