Abstract/Resumo
Macro-level analyses and institutional data show that policy responses to the economic and financial crisis in Portugal had no meaningful impact in the functioning of the health system.
However, this overlooks care-delivery level analyses and workers’ experience. The study proposed to listen to physicians about their views on users’ access to and the quality of care
during the 2011-2014 assistance program in Portugal.
