Adriana Morão is a PhD scholar in Psychology at ISCTE-IUL.  She holds a Psychology graduation from the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada (ISPA) since 2005.  Since her graduation, Adriana consistently showed a major interest in the work with vulnerable children and youth, and their families, and coordinated several community projects and interventions with risk populations. From 2010 to 2014,at Casa Pia de Lisboa, she worked as a practioner in child and youth residential care. Working in the residential context really made an impact in her professional and personal development, emphasizing her interest and motivation in Child Protection and residential care research and intervention.  Currently, she works full-time as a  Child Protection practitioner at Instituto da Segurança Social (ISS,IP).
