Bachelor in Applied Mathematics (Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa), Masters in Probability and Statistics (Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa) and PhD in Mathematics in Statistics (Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa). Assistant Professor of the Faculdade de Psicologia, Universidade de Lisboa and researcher at the Business Research Unit - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, in the area of Multivariate Data Analysis, with particular focus on Supervised Classification. She was Coordinator of the ProjAVI - Project Group of the Ministério da Educação e Ciência in 2012-2013 and National Project Manager of PISA - OECD and National Research Coordinator of TIMSS and PIRLS (International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement - IEA) and Scientific Coordinator of the project aQeduto - Evaluation, quality and equity in education (project drafted by the Conselho Nacional da Educação e pela Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos) between 2014 and 2017.

Research Interests
Researcher in Multivariate Data Analysis, namely Discriminant Analysis, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis and Symbolic Analysis.
Her main area of interest is Supervised Classification on Qualitative Variables, in particularly focused on the case of small samples and poorly separated classes.
More recently, her research is focused on explore the evaluation of Supervised Classification results, comparing several measures as, Cohen's Kappa statistic, Huberty index or others.
