CV Summary

I am an Invited Assistant Professor in Social Psychology of Environment at the University Institute of Lisbon (Iscte-IUL) and a Junior Researcher at the Center for Socioeconomic and Territorial Studies (DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte). I hold a Cotutelle double-degree PhD in Architecture and Design Culture (University of Bologna) and in Psychology (Iscte-IUL). My PhD project investigated in-place political participation of university students' in mobility. My research interests are focused on the interplay between people, places and policies, and on citizens’ meaning-making processes, and how they contribute to the construction of communities, places (urban and rural), and borders. This interest is pursued by adopting an transdisciplinary perspective which involves Social Psychology, Urban Political Studies, and Urban Aesthetics.
