Fábio Costa, architect, MSc in Architecture with the theme “Virtual sobre a Realidade: Estudo de ferramentas para aumentar maquetas reais”. He has worked in architecture practice in Planigere Engenharia e Construção SA and JOHR Architects collaborating in all design stages. Currently Costa is a assistant researcher at ISTAR-IUL in the scope of “Artificial Realities: Virtual as an Aesthetic Medium for Architectural Ideation” project, part of Lisbon Architecture Triennale 2019 and funded by EEAGrants. The projects explores how artificial realities, namely virtual and augmented reality are use as an aesthetic medium for architecture ideation stages namely during participatory design processes.
