Catarina Sales Oliveira is a lecturer at University of Beira Interior and  a researcher at Cies_Iscte. She is interested in the intersections between mobilities, place, and comunities. Her work brings together themes of gender, citizenship, and the arts, exploring how different forms of mobilities — physical, symbolic — shape the ways we live in and transform places. She is currently involved in projects about migration, mobilities, memory, and local development.
