Ph.D. in Management, with a specialization in Accounting, from Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal (2018-2021). He also has professional and academic training courses at Brigham Young University - Idaho (2014-2015), United States, and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management (2019), Germany.

He is currently a member of the Business Research Unit, a multidisciplinary research center at Iscte (BRU_iscte), Portugal. He has professional experience in management control, and analysis and preparation of financial statements.

He is the author of articles published in notable scientific journals and nationally and internationally renowned conferences in Accounting and Management.

He is interested in research on macro and microeconomics, international accounting, quality of accounting information, and institutional factors.
