In addition to his affiliation with DINÂMIA'CET–Iscte, Gonçalo Rodrigues Brás is an Associate Researcher at IN+, Centre for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. He is also an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Business and Economics Research (CeBER), Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra, and at the Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM), University of Aveiro.

Since 2006, he has held positions as a visiting lecturer and research fellow at several higher education institutions in Portugal. Between 2014 and 2015, he spent almost eighteen months abroad as a visiting researcher at several European universities, contributing primarily to projects on entrepreneurship, regional economic development, innovation processes, and strategic management.

He holds a PhD in Business Management from the Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra.
