Luís Ferreira da Silva is the director of Cloud at Microsoft. He holds a Ph.D in Computer Science and a MSc in Computer Engineering all from NOVA University of Lisbon a BSc on Computer Science and Management from University of Minho and another BSc on Computer Science and Management from High School of Management in Santarém.

With over 20 years of experience in multiple industries, he has a deep knowledge and a clear view of the challenges and opportunities faced by organizations of all sizes. He developed is academic career at NOVA LINCS (Research group integrated in the Faculty of Science and Technology of the NOVA University of Lisbon).
