He is a doctoral student in Urban Studies at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE) and at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is a doctoral researcher at the Center for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-ISCTE). He is a researcher in the project Hopes Perspectivas e fights around housing. Residential movements, policies and dynamics in and beyond Lisbon. He holds a master's degree in Social Intervention, Culture and Diversity from Universidad Pablo de Olavide and a master's degree in International Relations from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He published, in specialized magazines, articles on social movements, teaching and research in Brazil, Erasmus project and international politics. He received a scholarship from the Iberoamerican Postgraduate University Association (AUIP) and from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). He works in the area (s) of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Sociology, Political Science, Economic and Social Geography and Anthropology. Research topics include: public policies, social movements, activism, tourism, the right to the city, democracy, citizenship and international politics.
