Auxiliary Researcher integrated in the Communication and Culture research group at CIES-Iscte. Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology at Iscte. Portuguese coordinator of the international research project LiFi - “Living with Wildfire: Imagining, Narrating and Acting upon a Changing Climate”, investigating the changing priorities of fire-affected communities in recovery and sustainability. Associate Researcher at the Nova Institute of Philosophy, participating in the Project MultiPoD - "Multilingual and Multicultural Spaces for Political Deliberation”, aimed at supporting citizen deliberation through the use of technologies such as culture-specific Language Models. My research examines the narrative and argumentative dimensions of environmental discourse, with a focus on climate change risks, socio-technical transitions, and activism. I am particularly interested in the discursive, deliberative, and policy spaces opened by climate disruptions.
