Miguel Martins graduated from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in June 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the same field at the same institution.

During his academic path, he has worked on various practical projects ranging from developing neural networks with genetic algorithms to designing databases and embedded systems. Regarding scientific activities, he is currently participating in the 'Monicrowd' at ISCTE, gaining insight into sensor networks, device fingerprinting, and edge computing architectures.

Professionally, he completed the U@Deloitte Summer Internship, where he researched the expansion of mobile networks using satellite technology, focusing on emergency communications and IoT applications. Additionally, he is currently working as an assistant for the Computer Networks Fundamentals course.
