CV Summary

Olga Cojocaru is a postdoctoral researcher within the AspirE project at Centro de Investigação e Estudos de Sociologia (CIES-Iscte) of the Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Over the past years, she has been affiliated with the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw where she has completed her PhD on migrant temporalities with a case study on Eastern European migrants in Italy (2020). Her doctoral research has been funded under Marie Curie Initial Training Networks (ITN) as part of ‘Transnational Migration, Citizenship and the Circulation of Rights and Responsibilities’ (TRANSMIC) project. Olga has been a Pontica Magna Fellow at the New Europe College in Bucharest (2018-19), a visiting doctoral student at COMPAS Oxford (2019) and at EUI in Florence (2017). She has completed her MA studies in Anthropology at CEU Budapest (2013) and at NSPSPA in Bucharest (2011).
