Pedro Moreno Brito, 58 years old, born in Cape Verde and residing in Lisbon. He holds a Graduate in Geography teaching area – Universidade de Cabo Verde, postgraduate in education and training at the Faculty of Sciences, Educational and Training Technologies - Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, Senegal, master's degree in Statistics and Information Management at the Higher Institute of Statistics and Information Management - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, attended the curricular part of a PhD program in Information Management at ISEGI/UNL and currently Public Policies PhD student - ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. He is trained in Strategic Planning from INAG in Cabo Verde in collaboration with INAP in Portugal and, also, trained in the Public Policy Impact Assessment Method – IPPs -  ISCTE-IUL. Portugal.

At the teaching level, he served as a guest professor at the Universidade Cabo Verde. He was also a primary and secondary school teacher in Cape Verde. He was a research assistant at ISEGI - Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He was a senior technician at the Ministry of Education of Cabo Verde and served as general director in the same Ministry and as CEO of a private company in the written press area. He carried out several consultancy works and presented several written and oral communications at scientific/technical events. He is the author of two published articles, one in a scientific journal in co-authorship (1st author) and another also in co-authorship (1st author) published in the proceedings of a conference, in addition to guiding several academic works, as well as curricular and professional internships.

As a consultant, he developed several studies both in the country and abroad with various institutions, namely the Cape Verdean Public Administration, World Bank Group, European Union, UNICEF, UNDP, UNESCO, in areas such as education, environment, urbanism, science and technology, gender, financing and expenses, with very positive results revealed by contracting authorities.

He has command of Portuguese, French and English and knowledge of Spanish and is proficient in various technological software, namely: Word, EXCEL, SPSS, STATA, SAS, TANAGRA, MAXQDA.
