Sheila Palomares Alarcón hold a MS in Architecture (ETSA-University of Granada, 2007), an International PhD (University of Jaén, 2016 - Research Thesis “Cronista Alfredo Cazabán 2018” Award) and a PhD in History (HERITAS – Heritage studies, University of Évora, 2020).
She is currently a researcher at ISCTE- University Institute of Lisbon; Project ReARQ.IB [ERC Starting Grant].
Study visitor at prestigious international centres in Italy, Greece, and Spain; she has been an invited teacher in BA and MS studies and a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Évora - CIDEHUS (2021-2022).
Member of the Editorial Staff of the journal MDCCC 1800 (Edizioni Ca`Foscari), she has served on the scientific committee of different international congresses and is an external reviewer for various journals. She has contributed in terms of the dissemination of knowledge to numerous scientific events.
She has published several publications in English, Spanish and Italian and is a member of the Network of Experts of the Campus of International Excellence in Cultural and National Heritage Project (Spain).
