Currently developing a PhD project entitled: 'A socio-psychological approach to how residency laws affect citizenship and place: the case of the Chinese residents in Portugal.' Focusing on social representations of citizenship by different social actors and, particularly, how these are informed by the current Portuguese legal framework for foreign residency.
