Tiago Filipe Alves Vieira graduated from the Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in 2024 with a degree in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering. He obtained his M.Sc. in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering, also in Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, in 2025, with a research scholarship..

Regarding his research, integrated in the Centro de Investigação em Ciências da Informação, Tecnologias e Arquitetura and Instituto de Telecomunicações, his main areas of research are pedestrian monitoring and sensors, areas he addressed in his master’s thesis, and has participated in a European research project in the scope of smart tourism and digital transformation.

He has also carried out teaching activities, having served as a teaching assistant in a course at Iscte.
