Tiago Mendo is a Senior Director of Engineering at Snyk, a role he assumed after the acquisition of Probely, the web security company he co-founded and served as CTO. With extensive experience in application security starting in the early 2000s, his background includes establishing SAPO's web security team at Portugal Telecom and earning a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Beyond his corporate roles, he is an active community leader who co-leads the OWASP Lisboa Chapter, teaches as a guest lecturer at Iscte, and frequently speaks at international security conferences.
