Abstract/Resumo
Abstract: Trust and reputation are fundamental concepts in understanding relationships between organizations and key stakeholder groups. These concepts have always been studied separately in the past. Anchored on a literature review conducted on the concepts of trust and reputation, the present article focuses on the mutually reinforcing relationships between these two key concepts. The article aims to bring to the forefront the importance of trust and reputation for stakeholder management and purports to build a conceptual framework that acknowledges the nature of that relationship and its implications to organizations and to their stakeholders.
