CV Summary
Nuno Rodrigues is a researcher at DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte and an Associate Lecturer at IGOT-UL. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Geography from IGOT-UL (2024), where his thesis focused on the digital transformation of urban space. He is currently the Principal Investigator (PI) of UrbanFrictions (2025-2026), a research project funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. His work focuses on digital geographies, exploring the intersections of digital and algorithmic mediations with urban and economic dynamics, while critically addressing the power relations embedded in these processes. His research has been published in leading international journals including Territory, Politics, Governance and Work Organisation, Labour & Globalization. He is also co-editor of Geographies of the Platform Economy - Critical Perspectives (Springer, 2024), which brings together cutting-edge perspectives on platform urbanism.
