This project intends to characterize refugee unaccompanied minors in Portugal and to know the processes of transition for the majority, as well as to know the contexts of reception and reception, using to that effect the triangulation of methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and informants (unaccompanied minors and stakeholders). The first study aims to characterize the contexts of reception and reception of unaccompanied minors in Portugal through various stakeholders, both directly related to the request for protection and reception, and those who are involved in the integration contexts in basic education and health systems. The second study aims to characterize unaccompanied minors and to know the processes of transition to adulthood, through self-biographical narratives, as a way of giving voice to minors / adults to approach their paths and experiences.
