Description

Long-term research project focused on the ethnographic and historical dimensions of the social identities of the Creole population of Portuguese Eurasians (kristangs) in Malacca, Western Malaysia. Comparisons are established with neighbouring Creole communities in Southeast Asia, namely in Singapore, Penang, Tugu, and Larantuka.
