This service includes the provision of a variety of information products covering the three areas of quality of work and employment, industrial relations and restructuring.This project includes the following tasks: reporting on relevant developments in the areas of Industrial Relations and Quality of Work and Employment through information updates; ERM restructuring records; Survey data reports relating to Quality of work and employment; Input to comparative analytical reports and thematic studies; Advice on communication opportunities.

Main Objective:i) to propose a streamlined optical access and radio network architecture with extended range, simplified implementation and deployment;ii) to develop combined fibre and radio transmission centralised impairment compensation extending the FTTH range to > 100 km;iii) to enable single, end-to-end management architecture along the FTTH access network of the complete photonic and radio access paths; iv) to provide converger OFDM-baseband, medium-range WiMAX and short-range UWB and cellular LTE on a conventional wavelength division-duplexed (WDD) and a reflective-electroabsorption transceiver (R-EAT) based network architecture;v) to demonstrate the feasible network operation with signals (UWB) in the 60 GHz radio band;vi) to create an open house showroom in order to shown the approach benefits to the general public.

The present project intends to develop a new platform for labs monitoring and control thatintegrates in a single system the energy management, operation safety, security, environmentquality , workbench and lab equipments.The interactivity with the system will be done through touch screen based interfaces integratedin the workbench/equipment/building with characteristics adequate for laboratorial use. Thesystem can also be accessed remotely through internet.
