TY - CHAP TI - Green Mobility in Action: Erasmus+ Contributions to Climate Action and Sustainable Development T2 - Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics AU - Nogueiro, Teresa AU - Saraiva, M. AU - Pires, A. R. PY - 2026 SP - 37-53 SN - 2198-7246 DO - 10.1007/978-3-032-16432-2_4 AB - This paper analyzes case studies and student experiences that illustrate the transformative/contributive power of green mobility in coping with climate change and contributing to SDG 13-Climate action. It highlights the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme and its importance for global sustainable development. It also emphasizes the importance of environmentally friendly mobility habits and examines current information on Erasmus+ and other realities, illustrating their influence on a global scale. Case studies and student experiences are addressed, along with the advantages and difficulties of incorporating them into the Erasmus+ Programme. A qualitative research methodology was used, namely the analysis of documents, coding and categorizing the collected data to ensure a systematic analysis using the PRISMA-ScR methodology to ensure transparent reporting and methodological rigour. Furthermore, to ensure the validity and reliability of the analysis, the conclusion highlights the fact that the Erasmus+ Programme and eco-mobility have the potential to bring about important changes in people and their travel habits.
