AB - In Steadman, D. W., Adams, B. J. and Konigsberg, L. W. (1) is presented a very interesting analysis in the field of Forensic Anthropology in order to classify skeletal evidence as belonging to a male or a female. But the Bayesian approach used is wrongly applied. In this note the mistakes committed are pointed and the way to correct them is presented. It is also showed that the correct use of the technique stresses much more the authors’ thesis.
