AB - In nowadays architecture is in the process of transformation confronted with technological change. Around 98% of the planning, calculation, optimization is based on digital data. This is revitalising the architectural involvement with sources in material practice and technologies. Along with this comes a more and more direct line between the computational design process and physical implementation. CAD-CAM techniques and consequently direct programming gives architects total control over construction process. Additionally, the combination of rapid advances in digital tools with the emergence of social movements for collaboration can play a crucial role in solving some of the challenges presented to urban society. Some of the answers are coming from various fields – sociology, architecture, management, etc. – linking concepts such as participation, inclusion, interaction, collective construction. Social inclusion and entrepreneurship are found on the close relation between population universities and municipalities, with a view to explore synergies that can allow richer innovation processes, as well as an application of solutions at different scales. The answers become progressively by interdisciplinary teams and the use of new digital technologies for planning, generation, simulation and fabrication. It is in this context that is proposed a different architectural approach to digital technologies and social development.
