AB  - We will discuss how, in General Relativity, determinism reduces to the problem of global uniqueness for the Einstein equations and how it leads to the celebrated Strong Cosmic Censorship Conjecture. We will also present some recent results, obtained in collaboration with Anne Franzen, Pedro Girão, José Natário and Jorge D. Silva, that suggest the failure of such conjecture in the presence of a positive cosmological constant.
