AB  - Growing evidence from family cohorts and genetic studies suggests that neuropsychiatric conditions such as autism, schizophrenia, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and bipolar disorders, despite being phenotypically different, can in fact be genetically related. Understanding the mechanism how a gene can evoke different phenotypes could contribute to unveil the physiopathology of psychiatric conditions.
