Responses from two different targets are studied: a point reflector (trihedral) and an UWB monopole type antenna. The study addresses target specific influence on the obtained image as well as influence of the sensor antenna characteristics including its polarization. Conditions to achieve best imaging and identification using UWB SAR-like imaging method are discussed. ER -
