AB  - Esta comunicação irá abordar o tema dos serviços domésticos no contexto migratório, tendo por base uma pesquisa sociológica em curso sobre casais portugueses emigrantes na Suíça e a transição para a reforma. Nas entrevistas realizadas pela investigadora surgem relatos das relações laborais entre estas mulheres migrantes e as suas patroas suíças. Muitas dessas relações duraram décadas. De umas para as outras transmitiram-se objetos, saberes, língua. A comunicação explora alguns destes aspetos e evidencia formas de controlo e agência das mulheres migrantes sobre as suas vidas, contrariando representações que frequentemente as retratam como passivas ou vítimas.
