In this study, we sought to identify the best locations for EVCI in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brazil. To achieve this objective, based on the opinion of a group of EV specialists, a Multiple-criteria Decision analysis Method coupled with a geographic information system tool was used. The result shows that RJ would need around 2,000 EVCI- concentrated in a reduced area of the city- to support the penetration of 1% of EVs by 2025. ER -
