AB  - Neuroeducation is a multidisciplinary field that combines neuroscience, psychology and education to improve our understanding about learning/teaching processes. It focuses on the brain-behavior link and how this knowledge can be translated to practices that improve education. In this workshop we will approach major themes of neuroeducation, including myths and common misperceptions, how cognitive functions that are critical for learning are instantiated in the brain, neuroscientifically derived training programs of cognitive functions that are important in the classroom, and tools of neuropsychological testing. We will provide practical skills and resources that are useful for educational practices.
