In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), there are many possibilities to improve the diagnosis and monitoring of our cardiac system in a non-invasive and unobtrusive and way and accessible to a wider population. This article addresses issues such as the diagnosis of heart diseases in which the heartbeat becomes irregular using wearable systems containing embedded artificial intelligence. This paper is mainly a review of reported studies that have recently been developed that demonstrate how technology is moving from cloud-based AI systems to embedded AI systems in cardiac healthcare.
