Abstract
This study aims to analyse the impacts of economics model in the period of financial and economic international crisis, between 2008-2014, through the social services and explore their contributions to social work education and intervention. Methodology used twenty-one semi-structured interviews to social workers for data collections and we did the content analysis with Atlas.ti V.8.2.30 to categorize and create networks. The results show that local social services suffer the consequences since the begging of crisis and aggravated by austerity measures. Most of the social services and teams weren’t prepared to a social crisis impacts and that has change some of their working practices and responses.
