Abstract/Resumo
The age at which most young people are in higher education is also the age of peak onset for mental. Mental health become the secondary health concern all around the world with COVID19 pandemic. We discussed gender differences and mediation variables for the development of anxiety and depression and provide some national and international data concerning mental health challenges faced by higher education students. Primary interventions/strategies were also discussed.
