Abstract
The inhibitory role of sexual objectification in perceivers’ affective-perspective taking was tested in two studies. Results showed that participants’ levels of affective-per- spective taking were lower when processing sexualized than non-sexualized female targets. Findings were dis- cussed within the sexual objectification frame.
