Abstract
In the framework of this scientific debate, I contributed insights emerging from my work on the promotion of labour standards through the European Neighbourhood Policy (EPN), as part of Working Packages 4 (Qualitative assessments of EU external policies) and 5 (Political economy dimensions of EU external policy strategies), in collaboration with colleagues from Central European University and European Centre for Development Policy Management.
