A partir duma retrospetiva da antropologia praticada em Portugal no último meio século pretendo identificar respostas teóricas e metodológicas (afirmação disciplinar) e os desafios práticos (institucionalização, financiamento) que se colocaram aos antropólogos/as. Questiona-se a diferenciação de etnografias resultante duma antropologia como disciplina global (World Anthropologies).
