Abstract
The Routledge Handbook of Night Studies provides an interdisciplinary overview of the emerging field of Night Studies. Bringing together international perspectives, the volume examines the night as a distinctive social, cultural, spatial, political, economic, and environmental domain. It explores nocturnal practices, experiences, infrastructures, governance, cultures, inequalities, and methodologies, while addressing the theoretical and methodological challenges involved in researching nighttime phenomena across different geographical and disciplinary contexts.
