Research Data Record

This repository includes:

• Participant data in
  • wide format (Wide_format.csv and Wide_Format.xlsx), containing raw data and composite scores.
  • long format (Long_format_Emotions_Eng.csv), with one row per participant–image observation.

• Codebooks for the wide- and long-format data files, provided in .csv, .xlsx, and .ods formats (where applicable).

• The R analysis script in R (SCRIPT_StreetArt4Sustainability.R).

• Image-level descriptive statistics (Emotions_Descriptive_Data.ods and Emotions_Descriptive_Data.xlsx) based on observed values, including frequency distributions, means, and standard deviations for the overall sample, as well as stratified descriptive statistics by nationality, with separate results for Portuguese and Brazilian participants. These files also include model-adjusted image-level estimates derived from multilevel null models with random intercepts for participants and images), containing raw data and composite scores.

• The StreetArt4Sustainability dataset and corresponding information are available at https://zenodo.org/records/17702005 for research purposes.

The project website (https://www.patriciaarriaga.site/streetart4sustainability) allows interactive exploration of the images alongside aggregated emotional ratings, while the GitHub repository (https://github.com/doomlab/StreetArt4Sustainability) provides the source code and documentation for the dataset’s interactive visualization.
