António Trigo is an Assistant Professor at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a researcher at ISTAR-Iscte, where he works in the areas of Information Systems and Digital Transformation in organizations. His work focuses on the design, development, and governance of information systems that support decision-making and the improvement of organizational processes. His research and academic activities focus on areas such as Management Information Systems, Business Process Management (BPM), Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Information Systems Project Management, and Software Development, exploring how data, processes, and technology can be integrated to generate organizational value. In this context, he has contributed to bridging information systems engineering and management by promoting approaches that connect strategy, systems architecture, and technological execution, combining research, teaching, and engagement with organizational practice with a focus on developing solutions and methodologies that support data-driven organizations, efficient processes, and informed decision-making.
