Alberto Carneiro holds a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Management from the Technical University of Lisbon in 2000 and a Master's in Management (specializing in Strategic Management and Planning) from the same university. He is an Associate Professor at the Autonomous University of Lisbon and an Associate Researcher at ISTAR-IUL. He has published articles in specialized journals and papers in proceedings of international and national conferences, as well as chapters in international books, and is the author of books in the fields of Auditing, Control, and Security of Information Systems and Technological Innovation. He has supervised master's theses in Business Management and Information Technology. He has taught undergraduate and master's degree courses in Management, Management Informatics, and Computer Engineering. In his professional activities, he has collaborated with five collaborators, co-authoring scientific papers.
