Associated researcher at the Network Centre for Research in Anthropology of the Iscte–University Institute of Lisbon (CRIA-Iscte / IN2PAST). In recent years, she has been researching, publishing and lecturing on issues related to expressive forms of urban popular culture (among them the Portuguese Fado music), cultural heritage, inter-and intragenerational transmission, family (hi)stories and family photographs.
