CV Summary

PhD student in International Studies at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, she is conducting research on the political participation of young Africans, with an emphasis on Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau. With a Master's degree in African Studies from the same institution, she wrote her thesis on ‘Political participation on the African continent: Forms of participation in the context of West Africa.’

She works as a research assistant on the IN-Iscte project - a space for growth, committed to the integration and welcoming of first-cycle students. Her duties include training in academic writing and digital literacy, as well as student support.

She has several years of experience working with international students.

She is a guest assistant at the Soft Skills Lab, teaching the course on Diversity in the Workplace.

She is the coordinator of the African Student Centre (NEA), where she has worked to promote the social and academic integration of African students at Iscte.

She was the winner of the first edition of the Beatriz Lebre Award, presented by Iscte in 2024.
