My career has been guided by the launch and implementation of editorial projects in the field of social communication, social networks and political activism and anthropology. I started on the radio because of the fascination it caused me and then I went on television helping to set up programs on a television channel in Portugal and Angola Public Television of Angola and TPA International (Public Television of Angola), in 2008.
I was also responsible for youth-oriented programs with high levels of popularity such as Bounce Angola (2008/2010), urban dance competition, Elite Model Look (2010/2014) contest responsible for recruiting models in Angola and the program elaborated a mapping of the Kizomba dance movement around the world called Kizomba Nation(2013/2014).
I also have experience from several countries such as Germany, the Balkan countries like Northern Macedonia where I lived and worked under the European program European Volunteer Service (2005).
In 2011, I presented the film "For the Word", directed in Struga about the UNESCO supported Poetry Festival - Struga Poetry Evenings.
Director of the magazine of Fashion and Lifestyle DIVO MAGAZINE and did research, script and interviews of the documentary Bangaologia - the Science of Style (2016).
In 2015 I defended my dissertation on the practice and diffusion of kizomba throughout the world under the Master in Anthropology, specialization Globalizations, Migrations and Multiculturalism, with the thesis focused on contemporary flows and circuits in culture and economy.
I completed my PhD with research on Semba as intangible heritage – policies, images, and sonorities of culture in Angola, as part of the doctoral program in Culture Policies, Images, and Museology at ISCTE-IUL and NOVA FCSH, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, funded by FCT - PD/BD/137669/2018. I am a researcher at CRIA - Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia.
